Hello! My name is Hyeji👋
Little bit about me, I was born in Seoul, South Korea, and first came to the United States to study sociology at the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) for my undergraduate. It gave me a deep understanding of diverse perspectives, helping me connect with people from all walks of life.
Driven by my newfound passion in User Experience,
I joined a UX Design Bootcamp out of curiosity, landed my first UX design internship in SENTBE, a FinTech Service, and continued with a Master's in UX Design and Research to delve deeper. Throughout my graduate studies, I actively engaged in initiatives aimed at making design more accessible to communities and society. I have been lucky enough to have been involved in Design Clinic, Civic User Testing Group, Zell Lab for Technologies, Indeed summer internship and Human-AI Lab, where I learned valuable lessons from each organization.
What I've been up to
In May 2023, I received my Master's in Human-Computer Interaction at the University of Michigan School of Information, focusing on UX Design and Research. Now, as a UX designer in the healthcare industry, I blend sociology with science and tech to create inclusive, accessible and ethical user experience for positive social impact.
During my spare time,
I love to explore new technologies, capture daily moments, walk and run, and hone my design skills. I'm always open to new opportunities. Let's get in touch.
